Before the redesign, Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria was already a well-known and well-loved brand in Alberta. With plans to open multiple locations in new markets, the updated identity needed to have wide appeal yet not alienate the current fan base.
The new brand strategy and supporting creative elements focus on authenticity — authentic Neapolitan pizzas, imported ingredients, staff trips to Naples — and the pizzeria's casual and energetic atmosphere.
Famoso also needed a design for their house tomato sauce, used on all their authentic pizzas. A minimal yet bold design of hand typography on a clear label showcases the product, while adhering to the brand's authentic standpoint.
Extending the brand's authentic strategy into social media, portraits of Famoso's biggest fans were created using their authentic ingredients as a way of thanking them for their support.
